Overivew
The team are set the challenge of touching a series of numbered discs set out in a large exclusion zone on grass. Over a series of several attempts and by using problem solving and role assignment the team strive to reduce the time it takes.
Development aims
The activity is based around teamwork, problem solving, innovation and role definition. As such it will give great opportunities for feedback, discussion and team development.

The activity is best used with groups of between 6 and 12.

45 minutes.
How it works
The group is presented with an exclusion zone with 24 numbers spread out within it. They have to develop a process for touching the numbers in sequence with only one person in the zone at a time, then refine the process to reduce the time taken to perform the task, as a team.
